 New product line featuring mascot and player masks, hero capes, princess tiaras and magic wands for NFL, MLB and collegiate fans

 

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA. – August 28, 2012 – After a debut last year with a mission of establishing the sports licensed toy category with their line of player plush, mascot puppets and wind-up toys, Bleacher Creatures is announcing its initial product launch into dress-up toys.

 

“Bleacher Creatures launch of masks, capes, princess tiaras and magic wands give kids the opportunity to use their imagination to play while incorporating their favorite teams and schools. This category also allows the young and young-at-heart to show their passion for their team at games, parties and during the Halloween holiday.”

 

Products include the patent pending technology of using player photos to create the most realistic image of a mask yet to hit the market. Players that are launching include: Tim Tebow, Derek Jeter, Bryce Harper, Justin Verlander, Eli Manning and Troy Polamalu.

 

Other items include a princess tiara and magic wand so fans can become a New York Yankees princess or a Dallas Cowboys princess, along with hero capes so fans can be a Green Bay Packers super-hero or Boston Red Sox super-hero.

 

 

Bleacher Creatures™ was founded by Matthew Hoffman, a sports licensing industry veteran who was formerly an executive with GSI Commerce and Majestic Athletic. When his young children turned out to be sports fans, Hoffman realized that there was an opportunity in the $20+ billion dollar US toy market to engage kids who love watching their favorite teams and players in action.

 

Hoffman created a line of plush versions of today’s biggest sports stars so kids can connect to their favorite teams and players with imaginative play.

 

The new line of Bleacher Creatures dress-up collection includes the National Football League, Major League Baseball and major colleges and universities. Masks will include players in partnership with Major League Baseball Players Association and NFL PLAYERS.  Products will be available at major toys stores, sports stores, stadiums and arenas along with party stores.
